A Netizen (a portmanteau of Internet and citizen) or cybercitizen is a person actively involved in online communities
A blog about the cyberworld of people who are actively involved in social networking, shopping, blogging, and many other things. Also, the threat of your personal security and privacy while surfing the web. Unfortunately, sites like facebook.com have failed in maintaining privacy. There is so much to discuss about the future of web surfing, because we control the content of the internet. If more privacy can be offered then people can feel more secure to more things on the web such as shop on the web which would create a buzz in consumer purchasing online. People don't trust the web, because the lack of privacy that has occurred since websites like myspace and facebook started. People self censor themselves on the web. I do it. I don’t want my employers to see any pictures of me my birthday party. People really care about how they are perceived online. People do not like putting their personal information online, but they do it anyway. We are these people, the netizens. We control the internet, and we control how we want to surf the web. If given better privacy options we can better control our image, and security.
I want to hear peoples' feedback on their thoughts about the future of the web!
